Dr. Susannah Heschel (b. 1956)  holds the Eli Black chair in Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College where she is also associate professor of religion. Dr. Heschel writes and lectures on Jewish feminist theology, Jewish history and issues of multiculturalism and progressive politics. She is also a scholar of the life and work of her father, Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, one of the great prophetic voices of the twentieth century.
